Calgary · Software Company

We build software, then we run the business on it.

Eikeland is a product company first. Four platforms of ours are live right now — clinics, trading, rentals, optical labs — and the same team builds custom software, integrations and practical AI for businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and subscriptions.

Every one of these runs a real business every day — ours or a client's. Pick one to look inside, or open the live site.

Nexus — Optical Automation Hub

A complete optical clinic platform built by an optician: patient records, exams and prescriptions, lens orders wired straight into the lab, online patient reordering, two-way SMS, AI bookkeeping and automated commissions. It replaces a dozen disconnected tools with one system that runs on the clinic's own hardware — AI included.

How we build

Operators who write the code

We run an optical clinic, a lab and a rental portfolio on our own software. That's a blunt feedback loop — if a workflow is clumsy, we're the ones who feel it at 4pm on a Friday.

AI that does work, not demos

Models run on our own hardware and do specific jobs: reading invoices, drafting replies, grading images, watching for the thing you'd otherwise miss. No data handed to a third party unless you want it there.

Hand-coded, not assembled

No page builders, no plugin towers, no per-seat SaaS stacked on per-seat SaaS. Software that loads fast, behaves predictably, and can be changed years from now without a rewrite.

You own the outcome

Your code, your database, your domain. Host it with us or take it with you. Nexus installs on the clinic's own server for the same reason — the data and the AI should sit where the work happens.

STEP 01

Sit with the work

We watch the actual process — the spreadsheet, the sticky notes, the double entry — before anyone writes a line of code.

STEP 02

Ship something small

A working slice in weeks, not a slide deck in months. You use it, we adjust, it grows into the real thing.

STEP 03

Automate the boring parts

The steps you repeat daily become the ones the software does quietly: reminders, ordering, reconciliation, reporting.

STEP 04

Keep it running

Hosting, monitoring, backups and changes as the business shifts. We're still the ones on call at 4pm Friday.
